ONE MONTH AGO.....she turned EIGHT; a spunky smily girl full of smiles and surrounded by presents. Today she is surrounded by wires and prayers. And I'm searching for my spunky smily girl.
Hi Joy, I heard about Amanda through Dawn Doherty. We are sending lots of prayers for her and your family. My daughter, Kelly, has been in treatment at CHOC also for a brain tumor. We absolutely love Dr. Muhonen and Dr. Loudon - they have been wonderful to Kelly. Please feel free to contact me anytime you want to talk to someone who has been through this (and still is) Kelly is doing pretty well right now thanks to CHOC. We will hopefully be inpatient later this week for chemo if Kelly's labs come back OK tomorrow. My email is kathylaude@gmail.com and Kelly has a carepage which is www.carepages.com/carepages/KellyLaude
It looks like you have the internet at CHOC figured out, but if you are on the St. Joseph side, you can pick up their wireless on your own laptop. It is called Public.
Sending positive thoughts and prayers, Kathy Laude
Praying for her every second. Marin wrote in her school journal Friday that she is sad Amanda is in the hospital and that she can't wait to hug her! It made me cry! I love you!!!! Hang in there!!!
